20 years, and each year goes faster. Time is always running through my fingers. Growing up has been owning up to responsibility. Responsibility for not only my actions, but my own happiness, this is something that I've learned. Sometimes in life when you feel that your whole world has fallen from your sight, people are forgiving and everything is alright. Sometimes in life when you feel that everything is alright, your world has fallen from your sight. And in these kinds of matters, you always need to trust your own instincts. Looking back on turning points in my life thus far, my gut feelings have always been the right ones, even if I didn't agree with them at the time. I have been wrong all along, it's not that I need more trust in others, it's that I need trust in myself. Some of these realizations have crushed me with their harshness, but also bring comfort to me, in knowing that it is up to me to change.
